My name is Casey Kempner, I am currently a master's in finance student at Johns Hopkins University and a member of the Johns Hopkins baseball team. I bring an extensive background and history of performing successfully in high-pressure team environments throughout my career as a student-athlete at Penn State and Johns Hopkins. I have developed and enhanced the vital skills required to make a positive impact.
My experience as a student-athlete has been extremely rewarding. Throughout this time, I have been able to immerse myself in a competitive environment daily. I have been able to enhance my time management, communication, and critical thinking skills. Throughout my career, I have been recognized for achieving results. I enjoy utilizing a team-oriented approach to ensure that I meet my goals.
Currently, I am a starting pitcher for the Johns Hopkins Baseball team. I dedicate 25+ hours a week to athletic commitments including workouts, practice, meetings, competitions, and travel. As a student, I am pursuing a Master's degree in Finance (MSF), a STEM-based program at Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School. I am enrolled in 16 credits per semester.
I received my Bachelor's degree from Penn State, where I was a member of the Penn State baseball team. As a D1 athlete, I dedicated 40+ hours a week to athletic commitments while balancing a full academic course load. As a student, I was named to the Dean's list in the Spring of 2020 and Summer of 2021.
I have internship experience as a Summer Analyst at Fehr Financial Group. I observed investment strategies and analyzed market trends alongside registered financial advisors. I enhanced MS Office and data analysis skills through financial reporting and modeling objectives.
Johns Hopkins University, Master's in Finance student with anticipated graduation in 2023. The M.S Finance curriculum at Johns Hopkins is a STEM-based program.
