With over three decades of experience in education, I've harnessed an extensive expertise in: curriculum development, coaching and adult learning theory, literacy development, data-driven planning, and the needs of at-risk as well as gifted learners. My continuously growing knowledge of educational programs and coaching others through them has significantly improved student outcomes, as shown through district and school grades. I have also had a direct impact on the improvement of instructional efficiency among the teachers I've worked with, as shown through growth on their deliberate practice matrix scores, percentage increases on school, district, and state walkthrough scores.
Responsibilities included developing Literacy instruction including reading, writing, and social studies. Working daily with administrators and over twenty classroom teachers to plan for data informed instruction. Coaching cycles were put into place with all teachers, whether complex problem solving for improvement was needed or they were successful and ready for a leveling up.
During this time I also acted as the school Gifted Lead responsible for identifying possible giftedness, attending meetings regarding testing, and writing Individualized Educational Plans once students qualified.
