Founder / Product Strategy & AI Workflow Lead at LAB913 (2009-04 – Present)
Running LAB913 as a lean product studio, currently managing a live portfolio of five concurrent product concepts across five distinct industries (wellness coaching, creator platforms, network security, real estate media, pet-tech hardware), effectively the product-management function for five early-stage ventures at once.
- Own end-to-end product direction for each concept: problem framing, MVP scoping, prioritization, and go/no-go calls on which ideas advance to build.
- Built and run an AI-assisted product operating system (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Miro, Jira, Confluence) to compress research, spec-writing, and prototyping cycles, the kind of leverage a Staff PM is expected to bring to a team, applied solo.
- Translate raw concepts into structured product requirements, user stories, and execution plans ready for design and engineering handoff.
- Prototyped 3 of the 5 concepts through to functional MVPs, deliberately built as proof-of-concept case studies to de-risk direction and validate demand before committing further resources.
- Delivered a full-cycle client engagement for a legal practice — discovery, brand system, website rebuild, and case-management workflow redesign as one connected system — improving site performance across speed, security, SEO, and usability by 91%.
Sr. UX/UI Designer (functioning as cross-functional pod lead) at Advantage Resourcing / Blue Cross Blue Shield (2021-05 – 2022-01)
Managed discovery and delivery across three concurrent product initiatives within a 5–6 person cross-functional pod — Project Manager, Agile Manager, Backend Engineering, UI/UX, Customer Success, SME, and Research/Testing. Developed a repeatable discovery-to-delivery process: deep research into problems beyond the initial brief, synthesize findings into multiple design directions, present internally to invite ideas and surface cross-pod overlaps, facilitate consensus-building among peers, make final go/no-go recommendations, and defend decisions in front of IT stakeholders, SMEs, and C-level leadership in live Q&A.
- Enterprise Chatbot (user-facing): Built a multi-year evolution roadmap for how chat would mature, identifying legacy-system upgrades needed and the sequenced path to more robust capabilities. Designed the complete UI system and managed the design-tool migration from Sketch to Figma to Adobe XD.
- Claims Area: Applied the same discovery-to-delivery process to a separate product section, identifying pain points and designing solutions across complex internal workflows.
- Blue Web (internal governance system): Designed a governance and feedback loop allowing SMEs across silos to post and update information and giving managers visibility into what needed approval across the network.
- Designed a personalized doctor-recommendation experience within the member dashboard, surfacing provider suggestions based on each member's specialized health needs.
- Built payment premium aggregators showing members real-time progress against yearly deductibles, designed to hold up across a large matrix of plan configurations (Medicaid, Medicare, PPO, HMO, with or without vision/dental riders), each with its own recommendation logic and required disclaimers.
Sr. User Experience Designer at Collabera / AT&T (2021-04 – 2022-01)
Owned end-to-end UX strategy for the Enhanced DDoS Threat Manager Portal, a complete redesign of a large-scale enterprise DDoS management system serving a large multi-tiered enterprise customer base. Grounded the work in real customer pain: the majority of inbound support calls concerned portal usability, with reported issues around browser compatibility, cookie handling, and mobile inaccessibility.
- Partnered directly with the PM to scrutinize and iterate the product's requirements documentation — systematically identifying underspecified areas, pushing back on gaps, and working through multiple revisions until the requirements captured the full scope of what needed to be built. This wasn't designing to a spec; it was stress-testing and shaping the spec itself.
- Designed a complete UI system across seven major feature areas (Traffic Analytics, Alerts, Mitigation, Protected Zones, Reports, Admin, Knowledge Base), each with distinct workflows for three role types and complex backend data integrations.
- Delivered a high-fidelity prototype of 21 screens covering dense, data-heavy security dashboards — traffic analysis drill-downs, mitigation detail views, and role-based report generation — plus a complete visual design kit with reusable components that scaled across the entire system.
- Facilitated alignment between UX design constraints and backend system integrations required to support enterprise authentication protocols, real-time data feeds, and role-based access controls.

Lead designer responsible for end-to-end product design across immersive social VR, mixed reality, and educational tech platforms, bridging stakeholder vision and technical execution for a next-generation coaching and education product line.
- Architected a scalable UI kit for a virtual reality coaching platform, maintaining design consistency across complex immersive environments.
- Spearheaded user research strategy for an online education platform, translating pain-point analysis directly into 20+ actionable design improvements post-launch.
- Optimized Agile workflow by implementing Jira-based story mapping, improving cross-functional alignment between design and engineering teams.
Visual Designer & Account Manager at TruVisibility / TruChat (2019-07 – 2020-07)
Managed client relationships and product-launch execution for a digital marketing/website platform, including UX direction for a chatbot landing-page builder.
- Acted as the primary translation point between client business goals and shipped product.
Lead UX/UI Designer at Social Voucher / Stocket Inc. (2015-01 – 2018)
Led design for a complex digital product, driving the company's evolution from static concept to dynamic, validated prototypes. Championed user-centered design practices, working closely with Unity engineers and 3D artists to build interactive experiences.
- Built a visual design system that served as the single source of truth for engineering and QA teams, including detailed UI specifications and high-fidelity mockups.
- Collaborated cross-functionally with product management and engineering to define product requirements, translating stakeholder vision into usable design without compromising experience.
- Designed and iterated high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes that enabled stakeholders to validate concepts before development, reducing rework and misalignment downstream.
- Awarded a patent for immersive virtual and augmented reality experience design.
