I have had many jobs and titles, as many other people do, over my career. Namely those of, Warehouse Manager, Inside Sales Representative, and Sales Consultant.
Regardless of title, though, my passion is assisting contractors and construction companies source quality materials and goods for their projects and job sites. (Being the son of a licensed Home Builder I grew up seeing the difficulties of sourcing materials for jobs) I achieve this passion by providing an analytical view of the warehousing and distribution supply chain to effectively house and source materials for MRO, and OEM companies.
My direct experience has been in the Underground Utilities warehousing and distribution sector in which the individual branches I operated in had an average monthly stock of $1.4 million to $3.2 million in on hand material.
My responsibilities typically revolved around managing the inbound and outbound of materials for jobs across Central South Carolina and Central North Carolina as well as inventory control and management to optimize days on hand and reduce dead stock.
