Hello, my name is Chelsea Kowal! I received my Masters degree in Biomedical Engineering in 2013, but due to medical reasons, I have not been able to pursue further research in the field. One of my current goals currently is to work in a laboratory again.
I am currently working as an Algebra tutor. I also have completed my 500 hours of experience towards two certifications to work as a Peer Support Specialist and Recovery Coach.
Regarding lab work, I worked at 5 different universities in different research fields.
University, I worked on some projects with my fellow students.
University, I worked on a biomechanics project. At University of Virginia, I worked on a novel cancer treatment.
Unniversity, I worked on a neural engineering project involving helping people with spinal cord injury. Finally, at University of Florida, I worked on a neural engineering project.
I have plenty of research experience, in various fields and aspects of Biomedical Engineering.
I currently hold a Bachelor's of Science degree in Bioengineering from Syracuse University in 2012 and a Master's of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from University of Florida in 2013.
