Venezuelan state-own national oil company, considered among the largest in the world, with a total net production of around 3 million barrels a day of crude oil, where I developed a career within the Gas Plants Department of the Western Division, which has more than 120 offshore gas compressing units.
Supervisor with high standards of efficiency managed the whole western division of gas gathering and distribution system in order to provide reliable gas supply to the oil production system. Operations were run 24 hours a day from a totally automated Operations Center, which, by use of a SCADA system, allowed to monitor and control plant and pipelines parameters. The compression system included over 120 compression units and more than 3000 miles of pipelines.
