Software Engineer II: November 2020 - January 2022

• Rearchitected an internal tool from end to end in order to be more flexible for future use cases.
• Was able to quickly ramp up on two separate teams across a variety of code bases.
• Mentor junior engineers, document knowledge and environment setup steps, provide clarity to QA on cause of issues.
• Communicate with upstream teams on bugs found in data integrity and validation.
• Restored deprecated functionality to a legacy app used by the support team on short notice.

Software Engineer, October 2018 - November 2019 (DataXu), November 2019- October 2020

• Took Project Lead on the initiative to create a way for Finance to manage the allowed spend for our clients. The tool also allows Finance to keep track of client credit, overall spend, and make adjustments as needed. 
• Designed and implemented functionality using internal APIs enabling sync, mass permission modifications, and vendor data migration
• Improved Escalation Team’s efficiency by reducing turnaround time for escalations, and increased cross-team collaboration between Engineer and Support via JHipster/AngularJS full-stack app that queried across multiple databases using prepared statements to retrieve critical information.
• Performed Gap Analysis on tooling used by the whole Engineering organization in order to expand the capability of current tools or implement new ones.
• Led the initiative for a new logging platform, testing various ones such as DataDog and CloudWatch. Tasks included setting up filters, writing customer parsers, and setting up the platforms in docker containers and various servers.

• Fixed production defects, bolstered logging, and improved usability by modifying existing logic.
• Hosted cross-team knowledge transfer sessions in order to bolster communication and assist in creating opportunities for adjacent groups to move into software integrity engineering.

Java Developer: November 2013 - March 2017

• Rewrote customer consumed web-portal in Bootstrap after observing 50% of traffic was mobile.
• Designed and implemented an automatic payment subscription service for our clients to pay in app. Allowed for customers to automatically turn on features instead of going through customer support.
