I work with highly medically sensitive individuals. There are two teams, one that does not have high medical needs. That was basic nursing needs along with med passing.. Then a one on one resident who had highly medical needs and knowledge of different types of seizure protocols, G-tube meds and foods, knowledge of how to use a VNS, and other specialized medical equipment. Along with a specialized diet and fluid.I spent most of my time working on the one on one side.

CNA at Accura of Woodlyn Heights (2016-12 – 2024-07)

I worked on both LTC, TCU and Covid. I worked with the residents with their ADLs, therapy workouts, and other things that they would need to be able to go home or live the best life they can. I also trained the new aids that are coming to join the team. I’ve also implemented an interdepartmental communication board for the TCU that became vital to the unit.

ILS at Everyday Living (2015 – 2017-02)

I worked with a wide variety of individuals with different mental health difficulties, mental deftest, addiction, recovery and coming out of prison or mental health facility. There I worked as an ILS worker (independent living skills). I would help them learn different life, social, and some work skills. This would all be based on the goals that the resident would set and what steps they and I would think would be the best for them

Here I was a team leader and I passed medication. I trained in the new aids, took care of the residents, cooked meals and other LTC daily living activity
