Was a temporary holiday worker.
- Mostly help clean, get vaccines ready and get patients from the room to the treatment area.
- Towards the end did start to take histories with the help of experienced assistants

- Got proper histories and answered questions clients asked before the doctor came in to the best of my ability.
- Inputting the histories and any questions they have into the computer accurately.
- Properly restrained animals for basic procedures such as: toe nail trims, ear swabbing/cleaning, vaccines, suture removals, getting urine via cystocentesis, x-rays etc.
- Doing basic procedures (Sometimes by myself) like toe nail trims, ear cleaning/swabbing, vaccines, suture removals, x-rays etc.
- Advising clients on what is planned to be done to day and why via estimates and informing clients on what medicine they are sent home with is and why we are using it and explaining when to give the medicine in generic terms.
- Occasionally assisting reception if it gets busy and lots of people call at the same time or show up.
- Performing fecals, reading fecals, performing ear smears, properly drawing blood, putting it in correct tubes for the correct reasons, and centrifuging blood and keeping it stored correctly until analyzed.

- Stayed on my feet for 8+ hours to meet my goals
- Talked to many people per hour to get them to donate, possibly sign up for monthly donations
Associate Sample Management (Temp) at Thermo Fisher Scientific (2024-08 – 2025-01)
- Extract medical samples from boxes full of dry ice.
- I would scan said samples into the computer system
- I would properly store them if needed or set them aside to go immediately to the laboratory.
- Move boxes around when needed, up to 50lbs.
- Would sometimes have to deal with everyone's trash and make sure no samples are still in boxes and they are properly disposed.

- Also on the Special Services team, requiring me to be proficient in Aliquoting by hand, using the Hamilton Aliquoting machine, be able to properly work with Liquid Nitrogen, as well as get samples where they are supposed to be in the system, even if they don't come to us that way.
- Starting to train new hires on various tasks.

- Still the Same Responsibilities as the Associate Sample coordinator

- Learning how to handle Anatomic Pathology Samples
- Highly trusted and my coworkers look to me for guidance
