Backend Developer

Backend-focused Computer Science & Engineering student (Universidad Don Bosco, El Salvador) who builds event-driven Python systems out of genuine curiosity, from a RabbitMQ-based data ingestion pipeline to a real-time multiplayer game backend using WebSockets and Redis. Most of what I know, I've learned by building it myself: I set up a homelab to go deeper into Linux and DevOps than my degree covered, and I use AI daily as a way to understand code and patterns I don't fully grasp yet, not just to generate it.
Professionally, I've worked across backend development, data automation, and infrastructure, from engineering Python APIs and Power BI dashboards to self-hosting and administering the servers those systems ran on. I'm currently looking for a backend-focused role where I can keep building real systems alongside people I can learn from.
