I am a recent Physics graduate with a strong background in both computational astrophysics and observational astronomy, driven by a passion to pursue a career as an astronomer. My experience includes conducting research on orbital dynamics, operating and maintaining telescopes, and serving as a Physics Teaching Assistant where I honed my communication and teamwork skills. As Founder and President of the Astronomy Club, I have also demonstrated leadership and outreach abilities, engaging the community in scientific discovery while building valuable hands-on expertise.
I have over two years of experience as a Physics Teaching Assistant, supporting instruction in mechanics, electromagnetism, astronomy, and general physics while mentoring students in both lab and lecture settings. My research background includes computational astrophysics, where I modeled planetesimal orbital dynamics and organized collaborative research efforts. In addition, I have extensive tutoring experience across high school, college, and university levels, developing strong communication, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Physics from the University of Texas at El Paso in May 2025. During my studies, I focused on astrophysics, orbital mechanics, and observational techniques, which gave me both a strong theoretical foundation and valuable hands-on experience. My education has prepared me to apply computational and observational skills to real-world astronomical research and professional practice.
