My background is a mix of hospitality, events, and operations. I’ve opened and managed a restaurant, owned a wedding planning and coordination business, managed events for a standalone venue, and most notably have been serving as Director of Sales & Marketing for a boutique 57-room hotel in Ithaca with a full-service spa, restaurant, and a 22-tent glamping property since 2018. I tend to get pulled into a lot of operational conversations because of my management style and ability to connect strategy with the day-to-day side of running a property.
Through those roles, I’ve developed strong operational knowledge and a management style that focuses on team leadership, guest experience, and thoughtful growth.
Started academic studies in Elementary and Special Education and later shifted focus to Business and Hospitality. Gained strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and service-oriented skills well suited for hospitality and guest service roles.
