- Technical Manager and Technical Point of Contact for 8 Small Business Innovative Research (SBIR) Phase I proposals, one Phase 2, and three Phase 3 SBIRs; identified cross-organizational problems and managed solutions generated by two Non-Government Organizations, including a SBIR for verifying, validating, and registering multiple M&S studies automatically and planning analysis and test tools.
- Lead $15 million worth of SBIRs strategically by coordinating efforts and deliveries to meet program needs.
- Responsible for implementing cloud-based architecture across the United States in support of the Aegis BMD flight test data architecture, streamlining data transmission by removing air gaps and reducing test footprint during Flight Test, saving travel expenses across the agency.
- Consistently brief senior leadership, orally and in writing, at major BMD decision milestones as the technical subject matter expert, describing SRV-developed baseline verification methodologies; analyzed Aegis BMD data files in support of special interest tasking from leadership.
- Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) Digital Engineering Lead; coordinate complex tasking across multiple internal and external organizations to develop and implement digital engineering solutions that streamline data transmission and reduce analytics time across commercial and government cloud domains. Implemented and managed over $3 million of tasking. Lead and participate as an SME in multiple Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Digital Engineering Model-Based Systems Engineering, verification, and cross-organizational coordination of major requirement development repositories.
- Double-hatted as the Aegis BMD Systems Requirements Verification (SRV) Group Lead; manage 4 employees across two organizations in support of all major system engineering milestones — from defining verification criteria to gathering and analyzing Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) — in support of the Operational Capability Baseline (OCB), the final authorizing step for BMD-capable ships to perform the ballistic missile defense mission. Sought out by internal and external organizations as the verification SME to develop their verification processes.
- Research requirement history to piece together originators' initial intent to determine how requirement development will proceed, preserving original intent and guiding how new requirements are developed.
- Initiated the update of multiple Aegis BMD system specifications to meet the greater MDA combined mission, changing how the Aegis BMD program tracks verification strategies and improving preservation of intent for current and future BMD baseline requirements.
- Developed processes to automate repetitive tasks in the verification process, reducing work time from 6+ months to 15 minutes and freeing team members to focus on planning, analyzing, vetting, and adjudicating verification OQE.
- Collaborated with multiple offsite government prime contractors and sub-contractors to maintain alignment with MDA SRV objectives, creating 3 new contracts to automate SRV processes and procedures to meet increased future demands tasked to the SRV group.
