I grew up in a small town of just over 300 people in rural Northwest Washington. I began my Studies in Industrial Design at Western Washington University. There I learned the fundamentals of design and began practicing elements of the design practice within my work.
In 2022, I moved to the Bay Area, transferring to San Jose State University as a Junior in the Industrial Design Program. Since then, I've committed my efforts to growing as a designer and finishing my degree in Industrial Design. My expected graduation date is May 2025.
I've had a long-time fascination with design. Growing up, I would spend my time repairing and restoring pieces I'd found at donation centers and antique shops. I found inspiration in learning about the decisions made behind these products that came before me. Taking them apart and figuring out how to put them back together.
As much as I seek to contribute to design community of tomorrow, I always look for inspiration from the past to inspire and inform solutions for the future.
I have a well rounded background in customer service and design and have worked in various industries from kitchens, to residential home design
I'm a Junior currently attending SJSU working towards my BS in Industrial Design
