Christopher DeGuzman

Hello, I'm Christopher James DeGuzman or more known as CJ. I recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science and have a passion for problem solving and creativity. I enjoy working between engineering and design by using my technical knowledge.

I previously worked as a Quality Data Analyst for the Autopilot team at Tesla. In my role at Tesla, I served as a quality assurance analyst to improve object detection with segmentation, image processing, and classification for neural net. Performed on teams with quality of +90% in an agile and waterfall workflow environment.

Collaborated with teams around the country to update project road map and maintain data pipeline. During my time at Tesla, I have become well versed in computer vision and machine learning to understand the autopilot learning algorithm. Apart from my technical skills, I have years of customer experience in the retail and hospitality industry.

At my previous position at Tesla I must be detail oriented and comply with quality assurance; I pride myself in upholding a high standard within these areas. I have become well versed and accustomed to going above and beyond expectations, oftentimes labeled as an outlier as my scores are above average. With this outlier status I am often asked at meetings to give tips on how to improve performance metrics.

I thrive in an environment where there is a challenge and sometimes change. In Tesla’s autopilot environment there are forever changing data sets to update Beta. I also enjoy learning new skills and always striving for excellence.
