I have over 16 years of supervisory experience that demonstrate strong leadership skills. As a former magistrate with the Commonwealth of Virginia, I have a robust background in decision-making as well as a solid standing in communicating with others from diverse populations. Though I have no formal teaching evaluations, I have been praised in the past for my diplomacy in handling stressful and delicate situations as well as for taking on multiple obligations with ease.
I hold a Ph.D. in Postsecondary and Adult Education, a Post Masters Certificate in Public Safety/Criminal Justice, a Post Master’s Certificate in Adult Education with an emphasis on College Teaching, and a Master’s in Public Administration with a specialization in Justice Administration. My dissertation, which was published in 2022, can be found under ProQuest Pub ID 29394122 and was titled Strategies for Developing and Implementing Prisoner Reentry Initiatives: A Basic Qualitative Study. In particular, I conducted a qualitative study about the strategies higher education institutions used when developing and implementing educational initiatives.
As a result, I gained a fundamental understanding of how universities and colleges operate. Ultimately, I can truly say I have tremendous insight and knowledge of academic institutions that could become a valuable asset to any organization.
