I’m a passionate and experienced strength coach that has operated in the health and wellness industry for 20 years, with specific training with Air Force special operations (pararescue, tactical air control party, combat controllers). I enjoy connecting with my athletes and helping them reach their maximum potential to ensure the mission is done safely while mitigating risk appropriately. I currently have a secret clearance which helps me to be read in on mission sets.
I have built a training room from the ground up, beginning with securing space, Budgeting for equipment, creating equipment layout designs, and rezoning the training space within accordance of Air Force instruction. I have utilized my sports medicine team for referrals when appropriate and have worked to create a seamless program of communication for each case.
I completely rebuilt the tactical air control party’s 84 day training plan to ensure we are preparing our troops for graduation by meeting the physical standards which are extremely demanding, yet minimizing injuries. Additionally, while overseas I secured a space for training that never before existed using the space utilization board. This training space was converted and equipped to handle 40+ special operations para rescue troops at a time.
I am creative, inventive and persistent to ensure the job gets done.
I am currently certified by the NSCA as a certified strength and conditioning specialist, certified in American Red Cross CPR and first aid, certified by an NASM as both a performance enhancement specialist and corrective exercise specialist, and certified by the ACSM as a health and fitness instructor. I hope my masters in health education from Touro university, A bachelors in exercise science with a minor in sports administration from Wichita State University, And an associates degree from butler county community college.
