Claire Martens

Currently, I serve as an intern with the OSU Medical Center’s Radiology Department, where I assist with patient flow, observe imaging procedures, and gain firsthand exposure to clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This experience has deepened my understanding of diagnostic medicine and strengthened my commitment to patient-centered care. In addition to my academic pursuits, I work as a certified lifeguard, where I uphold safety protocols, manage crisis situations, and communicate effectively with the public—skills that translate seamlessly into clinical environments.

I also completed a veterinary internship, supporting surgical prep, administering medications, and maintaining sterile conditions. These roles reflect my adaptability, attention to detail, and passion for both human and animal health, laying a strong foundation for future work in clinical research and patient care.
