Colin Casey

I am a Junior at the University of Pittsburgh pursuing a major in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in economics.

I worked in the ticket office at Waterville Valley ski resort which taught me crucial communication skills as I worked with guests to book private lessons, ski rentals, and other company services to maximize their experience at the resort. I worked with managers and coworkers to solve problems and keep customers satisfied.

I worked as a waiter at the Town Docks restaurant in Meredith, New Hampshire, which taught me important time management skills as it was a fast-paced work environment. I stayed on top of essential tasks such as taking orders, running food and drinks, bussing tables, and restocking supplies, while socializing with customers and making them feel welcome at our restaurant. This job boosted my communication and teamwork skills as the whole staff helped each other with tasks and worked together to solve problems so that customers weren't kept waiting and left the restaurant satisfied.

I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in economics at the University of Pittsburgh.
