I have been working for the State Correctional System in CT for 19 years
I have been in a number of roles but predominantly quality assurance , grievance management, program development ( CNA / Hospice / MOUD) best practices, research chair and disability rights coordinator for the incarcerated population.
Whether private, non profit or state government I have continually been in progressive positions related to the equitable treatment and advancement of underserved populations from New York to Western Massachusetts to the incarcerated population of Connecticut. My focus is on health, health education, risk and recidivism reduction and disability rights.
I hold Master in Health Administration with a minor in Health Education. I am a Certified Correctional Health Professional and I am trained in and have studied Substance Use Disorders as well as performed research and program development in these and other areas. My Bachelors is in Communication and I have medical training from the United Stated Navy.
