Billing Specialist at Image Care Centers (2023-04 – 2025-11)
- Working for Image Care Centers provided an entirely new billing experience as I transitioned from working mostly denials from my previous position to managing my own two practices, a renal care clinic and a primary care physicians office. I was trained in ECW (E-Clinical Works) and on a daily basis I create, code and bill for both of the aforementioned practices. This also includes hospital billing for my renal care doctor in addition to the office billing. Furthermore, I am entirely responsible for the posting of payments both by insurances and patients alike to the proper accounts. Oftentimes the patients will reach out to us to inquire about a statement received or for clarification on services performed during their visit(s). In this case it is my responsibility to correctly and accurately provide any and all information as well as any other assistance needed to answer the patient's inquiry.
- Additionally, I was required to perform provider data management for my specific providers. I would reach out to my offices frequently throughout the year to ensure accurate and up to date information for revalidating the providers to Medicare, Medicaid and commercial insurances. Additionally, I was responsible for the signing up of providers to different insurances as they transitioned into our group. This required me to create the initial application for the providers by means of creating a CAQH (Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare) profile. After which I would then enroll the providers into the various insurances needed.
Driver/Accessioner/Billing Specialist at LabQ Diagnostics (2021-04 – 2022-06)
- As a driver, I was tasked with transporting a team of phlebotomists to and from their designated locations for covid testing around NJ. I would help assist the team in setting up and packing up the locations upon arrival/departure and I would sign up patients that would stop by for covid testing.
- As an accessioner, I would work late night hours to enter the collected patient samples into a database/program that would record the test results and send them to the patients. I needed to make sure that patient information was clear and correct to ensure that the patients would receive their results in a timely fashion upon completion of the testing.
- As a billing specialist, I worked daily by contacting insurance companies to fix any oversight or error on returned/denied claims that should've been covered by the patient's carrier. Frequently I would receive calls from patients who would need further explanation or help on a bill they received or to help with clarification. I would check a multitude of claims daily and overview the ICD-10 coding present on them to make sure that the claims were being submitted without any errors.
Machine Operator/Team Member at M&M Mars Wrigley (2019-09 – 2020-07)

- On a weekly basis I was required to disassemble, deep clean and reassemble my operating line to help with machine maintenance and overall cleanliness for candy to pass inspection.
Production Worker at Staff Management (2018-11 – 2019-09)

- This includes but is not limited to packaging, pallet building and assisting operators in place of the employee I am relieving and any time I can assist during downtime between production.
Stockroom Attendant/Cashier at The Liquor Factory (2017-10 – 2018-11)
- Unloading shipments, stocking shelves and assisting customers to make sales were my main duties. Shipments would come three times a week and it was the responsibility of myself and our manager to correctly identify the shipments and store them once everything had been checked in.
- Occasionally I would be tasked with various other jobs from my manager such as building displays, taking inventory and reorganizing shelves/coolers to make product themes areas for ease of identification and location of newer products for customers.

(Seasonal)(Summers)
- Primarily general pool maintenance ranging from scheduled cleanings/repairs to an established clientele, to newly renovated properties looking for initial help and guidance.
