In today’s modern business world, copy editors are the key to producing clear, concise, and influential media. Copy editing is the cornerstone of any organization, public or private, seeking to produce comprehensive and constructive communication. As a copy editor, I ensure every piece of writing my clients publish is proofread to perfect with facts verified and style guides adhered to and assist in capturing the writer’s intent by assuring all my clients' communications and writings are impactful even if they require major revisions.
Currently, I work as a Files Clerk for Altman & Associates and have been there since 2020. I have also worked as a freelance copy-editor since 2017.
I studied creative writing at the Santa Fe University of Art and Design in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and have a Bachelor's degree of Arts in Creative Writing and Literature. I graduated with honors as Summa Cum Laude. Additionally, I received a Certification in Technical Writing from the University of Wisconsin - EAU CLAIRE.
