Crystal Bhuiyan

I’m an early childhood educator and creative professional based in New York City. I have a strong background in child development and work with the Reggio Emilia approach, focusing on creating warm, engaging spaces where children feel safe, curious, and supported as they grow socially, emotionally, and academically.

I’m also a parent to a six-year-old boy, which gives me a real, everyday understanding of children’s routines, emotions, and needs. Along with my background in photography and the arts, this experience shapes how I connect with children, support their learning, and document their growth with care and intention.

I have over 5 years of experience working in early childhood education with toddlers and preschool-aged children. I support classroom routines, curriculum, and child development in safe, nurturing environments, with experience in the Reggio Emilia approach. My background also includes strong organization, communication, and creative documentation skills.

I hold a credit-bearing Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate from CUNY School of Professional Studies and an Associate in Applied Science degree from CUNY LaGuardia Community College. I have also applied to Hostos Community College to pursue an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, continuing my commitment to professional growth in the field.
