Contributed significantly to the Health-Platform app team at Samsung, leading the development from initial design Proof of Concept (POC) to a successful launch in October '21 at the Samsung Developers Conference. The app has achieved over 100 million downloads on the Play Store.
- Developed the backend of the Health Platform app utilizing Kotlin and Android SDK, integrating Google Health Platform SDK APIs. Introduced support for nine new Body Composition data types within Samsung Health, leveraging SQLite for efficient data management.
- Co-developed the inaugural wearable version of the Health-Platform app with Samsung HQ for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, aligning with Samsung's transition to Google Wear OS.
- Orchestrated the re-architecture of the Health Platform, continuously refining the low-level design for Device-Summaries (Mobile/wear) and cloud health data. Achieved a remarkable 60% improvement in average query response time from 3 minutes to 110 seconds.
- Elevated the High-Level Design (HLD) of the Health-Platform, minimizing dependence on Samsung Health by eliminating legacy APIs. Implemented support for multiple time zones and multiple devices for user health data.
- Developed Android apps for mobile and watch, facilitating the verification of Health Data APIs within the Health Platform. These apps were shared with clients for feature development and integration verification.
- Significantly contributed to Android Wear OS development, improving health-related features.
