My name is Daniel Barnett. I am a native-speaking American with a neutral accent, as well as an experienced and certified teacher. I have teacher endorsements in TESOL, TESL, and TEFL. Furthermore, I also hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree with dual majors in Business Administration & Economics.

I have taught ESL to Adults, University, High School, Primary School, and Elementary level students in an array of classes in Conversational English, Basic/Advanced Grammar, Business English, Pronunciation, Writing, IELTS/TOEFL test preparation, and General English with a broad variety of nationalities (Latin Americans, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese, Russians, and various European nationalities; as well as Middle Easterns). I have also lived and taught ESL in China for two years (2015-2016) in both public and private schools.I am quite familiar with the Asian culture and classroom throughout my experiences in China, The Philippines, Vietnam, and South Korea. I also have an abundant amount of experience teaching ESL online to large groups (20-40 students), small groups (2-6 students), as well as 1-on-1 personalized teaching.

I am a life-long learner and an experienced teacher.

Education is my passion! I have been teaching, training, coaching, tutoring, mentoring, and managing both children and adults throughout my professional career in a variety of teaching and tutoring capacities and settings.I have more than seven (7) years of experience as a Language Instructor/ESL teacher with online teaching venues on a variety of platforms and applications.I am equally comfortable and a highly effective teacher in both the physical classroom as well as online.

Throughout my professional career, I have had the opportunity to be employed in many diverse positions in Teaching, as well as Educational Assessment and Evaluation, Tutoring, Human Resource Management, Training, and Coaching. These experiences have enabled me to work closely with people, both individually, as well as in group classroom settings. I possess excellent people skills, and I am extremely comfortable in various teaching and training environments.

I am highly adaptable in any classroom, age level, learning level, or situation.
