Daniel Blacher

Hello, my name is Daniel Blacher, a Purdue. University alum with a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering. I am a highly motivated person with strong teamwork and interpersonal skills seeking a Biomedical Engineering internship where I can contribute my knowledge of design and creativity to acquire research and practical experience.

I’m the type of person who is able to bring the best out of their team and friends. I can build strong relationships and put people in their best position to succeed and solve a problem effectively using my team members.

After graduating with a technical degree in biomedical engineering, I joined the industry in biotech at MilliporeSigma and Abzena. I connected with various functional groups and gained insight regarding the development pipeline. I present technical data and take part in decision making conversations.

I also coach high school sports and work in food service, allowing me to connect with people of countless backgrounds and perspectives. I have excelled in all spaces and use my skillset to bring the best out of my teams.

I attended Purdue University, where achieved a Bachelor's of Science in Biomedical Engineering. This education has a strong emphasis on product design and research, as well as functioning as a team in a professional setting. Projects were completed meeting all deliverables and milestones on time and under budget, most notably creating successful prototypes to be used in olfactory research at IU Health.
