i am in my 4th year apprentice electricIan and Looking to get my journeyman license right I am working for a south Texas E&I and we put and run temporary and full power for oil and gas companies we install PLCs, VHDs and other instruments needed by these oil and gas companies
Electrical apprentice under journeyman or master electrician help with day to day task by gathering materials tools for the day task help with installation repairing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
Help with installing transformer breakers disconnects . Help with wire pulls through conduit runs help bend 3/4 , 1” 1”1/2 3”,4” inch conduit using a hand bender or electrical bender or sidewinder. Also help with drilling,
drilling holes to install conduit , four square boxes rough in’s install switches lights and receptacles.
Trained on boom lifts, skyjacks worked in confined space and proper use of power tools such and not limited to hammerdrill, drill/impact, knockout set, hole saw and band saw
