Danielle Bowman

I'm a lifelong New Jersey resident who fell in love with horticulture at an early age while helping my grandparents tend to their summer gardens and indoor plants, including orchids. Floral design is a passion of mine that I have enjoyed while learning at college and at home, and my love for plants can be found all over my life in the form of succulents and my deck garden. When I'm not working or learning, I like to unwind with books and movies with my cat, express my creativity through drawing and writing, or spend time with friends and family.

Cleaning Person at Collegiate Cleaning (October 2022 – Present)

• I work in a small team to clean an office, where we divide tasks to complete the job in a timely and efficient manner.

Receptionist/Office Clerk at Progressive Center for Independent Living (June 2023 – Present)

• I greet clients, answer phones, delegate calls to clinicians, organize and file paperwork, scan and organize electronic documents, and submit claims for payment.

Paid Horticulture Intern at Grounds for Sculpture (May 2024 – August 2024)

• There, I worked with a fellow intern and a small team to tend to the grounds of the sculpture park, learning how to maintain plants, weed, water, trim, and plant various species of flora.
• I also visited multiple nurseries and arboretums arranged by Grounds for Sculpture for cross-education for the entire team.
