I graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor's in Chemistry with a focus in Biochemistry. My current career goal is to gain experience in the chemical industry and pursue the position of senior scientist.
I have routinely performed several forms of characterization testing on a daily basis, per client and/or compendial documents from all major Pharmacopeia (US, Europe, and Japan). All testing is performed while observing GMP and GLP, and while utilizing applicable SOP documents.
Testing methods include but are not limited to: Assay testing (HPLC, automatic/manual titrations, etc.) identification testing (wet chemistry techniques), FTIR, XRPD, and KF analysis.
I concurrently undergo training to learn of more advanced laboratory techniques and to gain more experience.
Possesses an understanding of laboratory procedures and under general supervision can conduct complex analysis. Performs a variety of routine sample preparation and analysis procedures to quantitatively measure pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical compounds in a variety of formulations and/or biological matrices for stability and analytical testing. Trains on routine operation, maintenance and theory of analytical instrumentation, SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Responsible for review and compilation of results and data comparison against SOP acceptance criteria, methodology, protocol and product specifications.
