Dara Cordova

I am located in Downtown Riverside, California. My experience consists of designs for weddings, events, funerals, corporate events & installations. I am an experienced wedding and event floral designer, having been immersed in the beauty and artistry of a family-owned flower shop in Arizona.

Overall, I have been in the floral industry for 5 years, 3 of those primarly focusing on weddings. Some of my design strengths include bridal bouquets/personals, arrangments/centerpieces, and arches/installations

Along with floral design experience, I also have flower dictionary knowledge, along with floral prep and processing skills. I primarly design with a knife and hav eexperience using both foam and foam free alternaitves in my designs. Lastly, I am also experienced in creating wedding proposals and decks for client consulations. For the past 3 years, I have worked for a production company named Purple Rope ENT. My roles included event project manager and executive office administrator.

My design expereince began at a family owner flower shop in Phoenix, Arizona. I began simply processing florals and inventory. During this season I learned to properly care and hydrate large floral orders. I then began my roles as Floral designer and Wedding/Event Administrator.

I obtained my highschool diploma from Central Highschool in Phoenix, Arizona. After highschool, I immediately began working at Mia's Flower Shop (Arizona) as a Floral Designer practicing and mastering my craft.
