Darla Lawrence

I’m 16 years old and currently attend EVIT for cosmetology, which is something I really enjoy and am passionate about. I love being around people, getting out of the house, and staying busy. I enjoy learning new things, meeting new people, and trying new experiences. I’m a positive and outgoing person who always likes to make the most of my time.

I have experience working at Smoothie King, where I learned what it means to have a real job, work with a team, help customers, and stay calm and positive during busy situations. I also volunteer at my church, where I enjoy serving others and helping with kids. On top of that, I have been doing my own nails for a few years and have experience doing nails for other people as well.

These experiences have helped me become more patient, responsible, hardworking, and comfortable working with different people.

I recently started homeschooling, which has given me the opportunity to learn more about things I’m interested in, including how to start and run a business. I’m also attending EVIT for cosmetology, where I’m learning new skills and gaining hands-on experience. I enjoy being able to work toward my goals while learning things that I can use in the future.
