Darlene Boakye

I am an undergraduate student at the University of Denver in my final year, majoring in Psychology with a concentration in Neuroscience. I am deeply passionate about giving back to my community and currently work at FIRS@DU—a program that supports first-generation college students by providing them with the resources and mentorship needed to thrive in a university environment. We also work closely with high school students to support their academic journeys and college readiness.

I love working with children and aspire to become a child psychologist. I am especially passionate about developing programs that serve marginalized communities, with the goal of promoting mental health, resilience, and access to supportive services.
