I was born in Nashville, TN and raised in Brentwood, TN. I was raised to love the outdoors. My family went on many hiking and camping trips. I did Royal Rangers growing up and learned many outdoor, hands on craft skills, and then did Boy Scouts and became an Eagle Scout.
I played many types of sports, but baseball was my main sport. I started doing yard work and landscaping work in High School and around College I became more interested in the design aspect. I studied Communications in college and did specialized training in Ministry Development and Cross-Cultural communications, so I could learn to effectively communicate the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I believe that I am called to do agricultural work that will make a difference for the kingdom of God. I recently attended Kansas Wesleyan University to study Regenerative Agriculture in the Heartland Rodale Institute of Farmer Training Program and I am now ready to begin a career in Regenerative Agriculture.
Farm Work Experience: Regenerative farmer training and work experience at Heartland Rodale Institute Farmer Training in Salina, Kansas: Included Market Gardening, Tractor Training, Livestock Management, Regenerative Agriculture in class room college education courses included: Intro to Regenerative Agriculture, Agricultural Humanities, Mental Health for Farmers and Soil Health Out of class educational experiences included visiting regional farms including: Hildebrand Dairy, AJ honey farm, and the local FSA office Springdale Farm, Plymouth Wisconsin: organic market garden farm work, work in green house and on fields.
