- Educate patients and families about treatments and therapies.
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, IVIG, blood stimulating products, hydration and electrolytes.
- Monitor for response or reaction during treatments.
- Port/PICC management including accessing, flushing, TPA.
- Encourage palliative services for patients as needed.
- Triage incoming patient calls and MyChart messages/requests in a timely manner.

Oncology Department
- Care for 3-4 oncology, tele, m/s, and psych patients in various stages of illness or psychosis.
- Administer medications including chemo, cardiac drips, IVIG, and blood products, monitoring for adverse reaction.
- Monitor patients on telemetry.
- Educate patients and families of palliative care services.
- Participate in end-of-life discussions including hospice care.
- Mentor student nurses and new nurses to the unit.
Emergency Department
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide whole-patient care for 2-4 patients in various stages of acuity from Bipad-dependent to walkie-talkie.
- Perform EKGs for nearly every patient.
- Triage arriving ambulances.
