Provide safe effective care to our critically ill patient population. Work with our physicians as an advocate for our patients. Member of the hospital wide Sepsis Steering Committee. Serves as Charge Nurse and precepted new nurses to our unit. For 3 years I worked part time in the Quality Infection Prevention Department. I was the first nurse to have such a role and helped facilitate change that made a positive difference in understanding the spread of infection.
