Responsible for all one lines and schematics on new battery back up system (Z3) for EOS. Role includes setting up new schematics and layouts for this rendition of the battery system and any cad support the team may need.

Responsible for designing components or portions of systems and modifying existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing and field service operations. Utilized computer aided design and graphic tools. Gathered information and prepared original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposals.

Created schematics to facilitate wiring harnesses from installation packages. Launched new Inventory library for parts in Autocad to facilitate drawing requests for installation packages.

Electrical layout design for PSE&G. Physical design of new and existing substations as per PSE&G upgrades. Utilized Google maps and integrated into drawings in order to see if new equipment fit within existing property lines.

Design wiring diagrams, front panel views, one lines and schematics for 230kv & 69kv substations for PSE&G Central and Metro projects such as Green Brook, Front Street and Plainfield. On these projects new control houses were being built to replace the older ones on site. My role in this was to maintain continuity between the yard and the new replacement protective relays that were taking the place of the older ones.

I was in charge of making sure the schematics were up to date and that there was no loss of communication between electrical equipment and their protection controls.

Electrical Designer - Altran Solutions - Cranbury NJ

Lead design on circuit switcher replacements for Atlantic City Electric, did breaker replacement on Ontario substation. Design on Norbeck Substation breaker replacements for PEPCO, my role was making sure the new schematics were up to date. Did design on LTB Breaker failure relays for 230kv Beaver Brook substation and 13kv Brunswick substation for PSE&G.

Also did many more changes for PSE&G projects during my time here. All of these projects required me to replace components on schematics and to ensure the changes were reflected on any and all wiring diagrams.

Electrical Drafter - Becht Engineering - Point Pleasant NJ

Responsible for drafting on all electrical layouts on commercial buildings. These included lighting, fire protection, power and security systems. Projects included US postal service redesign as well as large commercial projects such as Labcorp in Cranford where I did physical walk downs to ensure accuracy of drawings.

Responsible for all plc, P&ID, electrical, HVAC drafting and some design at Dupont in Parlin NJ. Work included substation, schematics, wiring diagrams as well as cable tray layouts utilizing both Microstation and Autocad. Experience with Wonderware and Intellution screen animation programming.
