I design and validate microfluidic circuits for culture and perfusion of 3d organoids. I have conducted in vitro and in vivo studies, collecting data through microscopy, immunoassays, rt-PCR, and flow cytometry. I have excelled in a broad range of work environments, from pharmaceutical labs to 3-person startups, and I am looking forward to joining a new team where I can continue to grow.
At Mosaic Design labs, I helped design a novel microfluidic perfusion system. I designed and manufactured microfluidic circuits for perfusion and imaging of bacterial and mammalian cell traps.
At the Lundquist Institute, I conducted immunoassays (ELISA, Fluorospot), and fungal burden assays, and flow cytometry for a vaccine trial in mice. I also independently worked to engineer a red-shifted fluorescent strain of Candida optimized for live imaging of colonized tissues.
I am a BS from Pomona College, where I worked as a TA and Research Assistant in the Biology department, and was awarded the Scott Hanley research fellowship.
