I have experience in direct customer contact as well as in other operational work. I have a catering qualification, and my main interest is in dog care. I am self-employed, work part-time hours, and now want to gain experience in a new area by working additional hours.
I am happy to work unsocial hours. When I have tasks to do, I work hard and concentrate hard. I am practical and creative, enjoy getting things done, and always want to learn how to do things better. I develop new skills through internet research, whether it is a new recipe, a holiday destination, learning about dog care, looking at cars, or planning room decoration to a budget.

Dog care (Hourly paid) - PADI Home Boarding - Worcester

I walked boarding dogs, initially weekly when I was at school, and then up to 3 days per week. I covered the owner's absence at shows and holidays, caring for their 14 English Pointers, Portuguese Pointer puppy, and up to 5 boarding dogs. I stay with the dogs, ensure their safety, play with them, let them outside, clean up after them and feed them at appropriate times.
Dog Walking and Dog Care - Self-Employed

From 2021 to 2023, I mainly walked people's dogs during the day and hosted a small number of dogs in our family home during the working day or when owners were away on holiday. Since 2023, I have worked for other businesses, mainly a dog daycare business in Worcester. This includes opening the business at 7.00 am on behalf of the owner, welcoming dogs on arrival, and communicating with owners.
I then care for up to 10 dogs during my working hours and, when working until the end of the day, return the dogs to their owners and pass on any relevant information. I mainly work on my own, but sometimes with a colleague or the business owner who has other businesses at the same premises.
