I have a combined total of 25 years of experience in cleaning for the University of Wisconsin, Madison and for the Windham Maine School District. I look for something that I feel I will be comfortable doing long term and then set out to complete the assignment in a timely manner while providing a quality job. My past duties as a custodian working on a tight schedule have taught me to stay focused and conscious of staying on time.

Custodian at RSU 14 Windham Ramond High School (2021-08 – Present)

• Clean hallways, classrooms, bathrooms, offices, and gym
• Remove trash and recycling from the building
• Sanitize desks, bathrooms, and high touch areas
• Check and restock paper products in bathrooms as needed
• Change ceiling tiles and light bulbs as required
• Assist with snow removal and outdoor trash removal
• Perform deep summer cleaning, scrubbed and waxed floors
• Confirm no one is in the building and that all exits are locked and secure

Custodian at University of Wisconsin, Madison (1999-11 – 2020-10)

Knowledge of institutional or commercial cleaning methods, techniques, cleaning supplies and equipment. Ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow workers, station users, and guests. Ability to perform duties properly and efficiently under pressure of deadlines and with interruptions.

• Dust mopping and wet mopping floors and halls
• Manually, or by machine, scrubbed and waxed floors
• Scrub bathroom sinks, toilets, fixtures, floors and walls
• Operate vacuum cleaners and carpet extractors
• Move supplies, furniture, file cabinets, tables and other equipment
