Devan Swami

My name is Devan Swami, and I‘m a freshman finance major at the University of Central Florida. I’ve always been passionate about the stock market and enjoy working with numbers to solve problems. I’m also a big fan of basketball, cars, and staying active through working out. I‘m excited to bring my curiosity, work ethic, and enthusiasm to this opportunity where I can learn and contribute to meaningful projects.

So far, I’ve gained professional experience as a current Private Equity Analyst Intern. In this role, I’ve been researching the healthcare industry, analyzing trends, and identifying key metrics in the pharmaceutical space. I am also preparing to assist with outreach to potential acquisition targets and contribute to the due diligence process,.

In high school, I gained valuable experience as the treasurer of a school club, managing finances and staying organized. I worked as a media consultant for my dad’s allergy company, updating the website, and balanced part-time jobs at a trampoline park and Walgreens, building customer service and time management skills. I also interned with the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp as a cameraman, where I gained insight into media production and operations. These roles helped me develop a strong work ethic and a versatile skill set.
