Hello! I am a Respiratory Therapist pursuing an opportunity to further my skills and knowledge in the field. I am currently seeking a Part-Time/Per-Diem position also would love a full time position (if available) to apply everything I have learned and to grow as a Respiratory Therapist.

Part Time Night Shift - UCI Health Lakewood Campus - Lakewood, CA

(2023-01)

• Work experience in ED, ICU, CCU, and Medsurge floors.
• Responds to all Rapid Response and Code Blue calls to perform CPR and bag mask resuscitation.
• Draw and analyze ABG's to provide the appropriate care.
• Assists in patient assessments and patient-care plans.
• Assists in the administration of oxygen/medications/therapies and monitoring of patients in the CCU, ICU and ED
• Setup and ST's Bipaps (Phillips V60, Phillips Trilogy EVO) and ventilators (LTV-1150, Servo-i, Servo-U and PARAPAC transport ventilators) as well as HFNC's (Vapotherm and Airvo).
• First-hand experience with procedures such as bronchoscopies, intubations and extubations.
• Participates in ICU and CCU rounds with the care team.
• Manage Ventilator and BIPAP settings based on patient condition.
• Provided care to ventilator dependent patients.
• Delivered MDI and nebulizer treatments prescribed to patients.
• Primary ventilator (LTV-1150).
• Suctioned and provided oral care to patients daily.
• Performed trach changes, trach gauze changes, and trach collar changes.
• Placed Vents on mobile transport and transported patients to showers.
