Hi, I'm Dewaki Dhimal. I recently completed my MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business and also hold a Master of Health Services Administration from the University of Michigan. My background combines clinical nursing experience with healthcare operations, strategy, and supply chain management.

During my internship at Mayo Clinic, I worked on pharmacy supply chain optimization projects that identified significant cost-saving opportunities. I am passionate about improving healthcare systems and patient outcomes through innovation and operational excellence.

Experience

In my most recent role as a Tauber Institute Supply Chain Management Intern at Mayo Clinic, I analyzed pharmacy procurement, inventory management, and shortage management processes across multiple campuses. I identified operational gaps and developed enterprise-wide performance metrics to improve efficiency and accountability. One of my key achievements was recommending strategies that could generate approximately $1.4 million in annual savings through waste reduction and improved credit recovery, as well as a centralized pharmacy service center model projected to deliver an additional $800,000 in annual savings.

This experience strengthened my skills in healthcare operations, supply chain optimization, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
