Diana Guillen

Hello! My name is Diana, I am currently a psychology student at California State University, Northridge. I am expected to receive my Bachelor's May 2023 and hope to start a Master's program Fall 2023. My main interests are research, clinical psychology, and psychotherapy. I love learning what I can about new discoveries within the psychology world through out journals and I strive to become a clinical psychologist. I am currently doing research right now and working along with a neuropsychologist who is helping me complete any hours needed for my future application to a Phd program.

My professional experience varies. I have worked with both elderly and children who have had disorders ranging from Autism, ADHD, Schizophrenia, OCD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, and so on. I have only helped treat Autism and ADHD through ABA Therapy. I also have extensive customer service skills. I have worked as a sales associate and dog bather in the past and have had to provide services as well as build lasting relationships with the customers.

My most relevant education includes an AA with a major emphasis in Psychology. I am earning a Bachelor's degree with a major emphasis in psychology May 2023. I have taken many courses to expand my knowledge, courses such as developmental psychology, abnormal psychology, motivation, research methods, ect. I carry what I learn from each course to help my understanding in the real world and so that I can apply myself and what I know to my fullest potential.
