- Caregiver-Vital Signs, accuchecks, patient care, sitter, epic documentation, admissions, catheter care, peri care, telemetry placement, assist with direct and indirect patient care, providing or assisting with patient care under the supervision of an RN.
- Taking vital and weight, assisting patients with personal care, providing point-of-care testing, changing dressings, applying external monitoring devices and removing urinary Foley Catheters.
- Reporting abnormal findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to an RN.
- Assisting with keeping patients' rooms clean and orderly.
Patient Companion PRN at Cleveland Clinic General Internal-G80 Medicine Institute (2022-07 – 2022-12)
- Patient Companion- caregiver- assist with direct and indirect patient care such as rooming, vital signs, weights, and pulse oximetry.
- Assure patient safety with catheters, tubes, other medical equipment have not been removed or disconnected.
- Accompany and assist patients at all times, including transport, tests, transfers, ambulation.
- Identify and report changes in patient status to an RN or physician.
- Complete all documentation and provide hand-off communication to caregivers responsible for the patient.
