Diyana Johnson

Hi! My name is Diyana Johnson, I’m 23 years old and originally from Raleigh, North Carolina. I have two years of experience working at Ulta Beauty, where I developed a strong passion for beauty, fragrance, skincare, and helping customers find products that make them feel confident.

I really enjoyed creating connections with customers and learning about different products and their benefits. I’m currently participating in the Disney College Program and am exploring opportunities to build my career in Florida. I would love the opportunity to bring my previous beauty retail experience, positive attitude, and passion for the industry to Sephora while continuing to grow professionally.

During my two years at Ulta Beauty, I worked as a Lead Cashier and gained valuable experience in beauty retail, customer service, and leadership. I assisted guests with finding products based on their individual needs and provided recommendations in skincare, fragrance, makeup, and haircare. As a Lead Cashier, I was responsible for supporting the front-end team, providing excellent customer service, handling transactions, resolving customer concerns, and helping ensure the store operated smoothly and efficiently.

I also helped maintain an organized sales floor, restock products, and stay knowledgeable about new and existing products. My time at Ulta strengthened my communication, leadership, teamwork, sales, and customer service skills while allowing me to work in an industry I genuinely love.
