ECAD Librarian at General Dynamics (2026-01 – Present)
Use the EDM Request system to manage part requests. Create library parts using the Symbol Editor, Cell Editor, and Part Editor. Release new parts using the EDM Library Cache Manager. Use Expedition tools to test new parts.
ECAD Librarian at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (2010-01 – 2025-08)
As the ECAD Librarian for APL, managed thousands of library parts for the APL libraries. Processed library requests, maintained a Part Request Status spreadsheet, used loaders, EDM, and the IPC calculator, and kept a standard for schematic symbol, footprint, part and 3D model generation. Ensured the end user community was kept aware of any major library changes via email memos.
Created fabrication and assembly drawings for boards and magnetics, as well as wiring diagrams and board schematics. Loaded gear part information into PLM and sent out promotion requests.
