Douglas Hinds

I am a married man with four children and five grandchildren. I am an avid shotgun shooter competing in as many events as possible. I enjoy my family time as well as my time I spend competing. My work has always brought me satisfaction and the means to provide for my family.

I workEd at the Port of Houston for fifteen years and then moved back to Port Lavaca. Then went to work at Formosa Plastics for a contractor as a crane operator. The company went under do to bad management. I took a job as a mechanic on outboard motors. That didn’t work out for me. So now I’m looking to be a crane operator again.

I have my NCCCO certifications for Rigger 1 and 2. Also have my large hydraulic certification as well.
