I am an experienced teacher seeking summer employment in a program that will allow me to continue to improve my practice.
I have taught computer science for 6 years in Baltimore City Schools while coaching 3-8 Robotics. Over those years i have learned just as much as I have taught. My programming and engineering related skils are constantly tested attempting to assist my students and help them fix their mistakes.
Students make mistakes I have never made, and have helped me improve my own diagnostic ability. My best skill as a teaching skill is creating a positive educational environment, and building relationships with my students. I leverage those relationships to motivate my students to experiment, to fail, and to iterate.
I'm seeking employment to inspire students, personal improvement, and paying my bills over the summer.
