Dr. Ajmal Khan

PhD researcher in Plant Biology with expertise in in vitro propagation, phytochemical profiling, and DNA fingerprinting of medicinal plants. Recently received PhD from Department of Botany Hazara University Mansehra, Pakistan. Research focused on conservation strategies, molecular approaches, and genetic diversity assessment of endangered Himalayan medicinal plants.

Established plant tissue culture and molecular laboratories. Experienced in bioinformatics tools, statistical analysis, and multiple molecular techniques. Resourceful and collaborative researcher with interdisciplinary technical skills and strong interest in plant conservation and health care applications.

Established plant tissue culture and molecular lab and a small nursery at lower altitude at Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan.

• Investigated photochemical profiling of callus, micropropagated plantlet as well as wild source plant
• Applied molecular approaches improving the conservation status of medicinal plants vital for health care
