It is my desire to seek a challenging position in where my experience and proven skills will be utilized. Obtaining this position as Security Specialist of SBBC will allow for me to put into practice my strong problem solving and decision-making skills. Security Specialist at Broward County Schools - Apollo Middle/ Whispering Pines (2021-01 – Present)

• Secured premises and personnel by patrolling property & monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Inspected buildings, equipment, and access points; permitted entry.
• Prevented loss and damages by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures and restrained trespassers when needed.
• Communicated safety and security objectives to staff and students.
• Collaborate with school-based administration and district support personnel to ensure the safety of all stakeholders of SBBC facilities.

Behavior Technician at Broward County Schools – The Quest Center (2004-01 – Present)

• Collect and record behavior data for students in a school environment.
• Assist teachers with classroom preparation and behavior strategies.
• Construct behavior management aids/tools and order reinforcement for students.
• Assist support staff with behavioral trainings regarding best practices, techniques and the implementation of behavioral systems.

• Help avert and report bullying, harassment and intimidation of students and staff.

Campus Monitor at After School Programs, Inc. (ASP) – The Quest Center (2015-01 – 2020-12)

• Enforce safety rules and procedures
• Complete Maintenance and Gate Logs
• Patrol campus and perimeter to prevent trespassing and or potential threat or danger to the school, students, and staff.

• Report to the School Principal of any disturbances, procedures that deem to be unsafe and other security issues.
